I appreciate this article. I’ve wrestled with how to talk to my three young boys about people like President Trump. My wife and I are both conservative politically but both could not vote for Trump. How could we say we voted for someone like that and condone a man of such lowly character sitting in the highest office in the country? He’s exactly who we don’t want our boys to be like and I could not imagine trying to explain to them how we could vote for him but and then try to also explain why his behavior is reprehensible.

Thanks for sharing about your struggles raising boys. We’d probably disagree on a lot politically but I know we both want our boys to grow up to have a positive impact on the world around them and to love and respect the people they encounter.
